Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Poly Fabricator with expertise in HDPE (High-Density Polyethylene) fabrication. The ideal candidate will be proficient in butt welding, extrusion welding, and fabricating HDPE products to meet the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform butt welding and extrusion welding on HDPE materials in compliance with company and industry standards.
• Fabricate HDPE products, including pipe systems, fittings, and custom structures, based on drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
• Ensure all welds meet quality control requirements and conduct inspections as necessary.
• Operate and maintain welding and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently.
• Collaborate with the team to troubleshoot and resolve fabrication issues.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Adhere to workplace health and safety regulations and company policies.

Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience in HDPE fabrication, including butt welding and extrusion welding.
• Knowledge of plastic welding techniques and equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Relevant certifications in welding or fabrication (preferred but not essential).
• Familiarity with the Australian Standards for welding and fabrication is advantageous.
